The developed campgrounds and restrooms on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests are closed for public health and safety due to the COVID-19 outbreak, however, other areas that support social distancing and small groups are still open. Such fun outdoor activities that support the recommended social distancing are hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, and dispersed camping.

Avoid high risk activities, such as rock climbing, that increase chance of injury; Search and Rescue operations may be limited.
